Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Institute of Trauma (SMBBIT), Karachi, is seeking applications from suitable and qualified candidates for various positions on a contract basis.

| 1 | Senior Registrar | 45 years | FCPS in General Surgery or equivalent, PMDC registered. Preference will be given to candidates with post-fellowship work experience in any reputed hospital. |
| 2 | Resident Medical Officer (Plastic Surgery) | 45 years | FCPS Part-II qualified in Plastic Surgery, PMDC registered. |
| 3 | Resident Medical Officer (Anesthesia) | 45 years | FCPS Part-II qualified in Anesthesia or equivalent, PMDC registered. Preference will be given to candidates with post-fellowship work experience in any reputed hospital. |
| 4 | Medical Officer (ER) | 45 years | MBBS, PMDC registered. Preference will be given to candidates with post-fellowship work experience in any reputed hospital. |
| 5 | OT Technician | 35 years | Matriculation with 2 years of experience in a well-known hospital. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in handling equipment. |
| 6 | Biomedical Technician | 45 years | Diploma in Biomedical Technology with 3 years of experience in a hospital. |
| 7 | Biomedical Technician | 45 years | Diploma in Biomedical Technology with 5 years of experience in a hospital. |
| 8 | Staff Nurse (ICU) | 40 years | Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery, PMDC registered. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in ICU. |
| 9 | Staff Nurse (ICU) | 40 years | Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery, PMDC registered. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in ICU. |

These appointments are for a contract period of 2 years, which is renewable based on performance.
Government employees are not eligible to apply.
Only the post-qualification experience will be considered as the required experience.

Selected candidates will be offered a salary according to the pay scale of the Trauma Center.
These appointments will not be regularized.
The decision of the competent authority cannot be challenged in any court of law.
