The Office of the Dean/CEO of Bannu Medical College is inviting applications for various faculty positions under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Teaching Institution Act.
1. Available Positions
Applications are open for the following roles across Basic and Clinical Sciences:
- Professor
- Specialties: Pathology, Radiology, Anesthesia, Cardiac Surgery, Vascular Surgery.
- Associate Professor
- Specialties: Anatomy, Microbiology, Chemical Pathology, Pharmacology, Medical Education, Neurology, Radiology, Anesthesia, Plastic Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Nephrology, Cardiac Surgery, Vascular Surgery.
- Assistant Professor
- Specialties: A wide range including Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Microbiology, Community Medicine, Neurology, Dermatology, various Surgeries (Cardiac, Vascular, Pediatric, Plastic, etc.), and others.
2. Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Eligibility: All qualifications and experience must be as per the Policy Board of MTI and the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC)
- Special Note for Pathology: Preference will be given to candidates with FCPS or clinical work experience in the specialty.
3. Important Instructions & Conditions

- Professor & Associate Professor: 3,000
- Assistant Professor: 2,000
- Payment must be made via Bank Draft/Challanto Bank of Khyber (BOK) A/C No. 3003967912. Cheques or Pay Orders are not
- How to Apply:
- Use the prescribed form from the college website: bmckp.edu.pk.
- Send the completed form along with your Bio-data, attested copies of all certificates, and the payment proof to the Dean’s office.
- Deadline: Applications must reach the office within 12 days of the advertisement’s publication in the newspaper.
- For Government Servants: Must apply through the proper channel and will be required to resign from civil service if selected.
- Age Limit: For positions 1-3, candidates above 60 years will be appointed on a one-year contract, extendable up to age 63 based on performance.
- Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be called and must bring original documents.
- No TA/DA: No travel or daily allowance will be provided for the test or interview.
- Private Practice: Selected clinical faculty must do IBP (Indoor Patient Practice) and are not allowed private practice outside the hospital.
