Job Summary
Medical Teaching Institution (MTI) Mardan is hiring a Finance Director on a 3-year contract. This is a senior, high-impact role reporting directly to the Hospital Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire financial management system of the hospital and associated medical and dental colleges.

Qualifications & Experience (Any One of the Following)
- Chartered Accountant (CA):Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in finance/accounts.
- Cost & Management Accountant (ICMAP):Certified member with at least 8 years of post-qualification experience in finance/accounts.
- Master’s Degree: In Finance or Accounts with at least 8 years of post-qualification experience.
Experience must be from a major private or public company/institution.
Key Responsibilities
The Finance Director’s duties will include:
- Overseeing all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Implementing and managing financial systems and internal controls.
- Advising senior management (Hospital Director, Dean) on financial matters.
- Preparing the Annual Financial Report for the Board.
- Managing cash flow, treasury, and ensuring compliance with IFRS and tax laws.
- Leading and developing the finance and accounts team.
- Liaising with banks, government departments, and auditors.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Technical: In-depth knowledge of IFRS and tax laws; high IT literacy with hands-on ERP experience.
- Managerial: Leadership, strategic management, strong decision-making, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Personal: Assertive personality, a catalyst for change, effective communicator, and a team player.
Terms & Conditions
- Governed by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa MTI Act, 2015.
- The candidate must resign from any current employment (including government service).
- False documentation will lead to disqualification/termination.
- No travel allowance (TA/DA)for the interview.
