In continuation of Advertisement INF-KRY/2066/25, INF-KRY/3776/2024, INF-KRY No.3036/2024 & INF-KRY No.3182/24 and in pursuance of Health Department, Govt. of Sindh for appointment of Teaching Faculty & Other Employees, SMBBMCL vide letter No.SO.II(T.H)26-21/2009(SMBBMCL)/(Pt-VIII), dated 23-08-2024, the following Sindh Domicile holders Faculty is required for Basic as well as Clinical Sciences & Other Employees on special pay package for 02 years contract basis as per PM&DC requirement. Objective: To hire Sindh Domicile holders for Teaching Faculty & Other Employees on a 2-year contract basis (special pay package) as per PM&DC requirements.
Positions, Required Specialties & Key Requirements:
- PROFESSOR
- Basic Sciences: Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pathology (sub-specialties), Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine.
- Clinical Sciences: Multiple specialties including General Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Surgical & Medical sub-specialties.
- Qualification: Phil/Ph.D or equivalent to MS/MD/MDS/FCPS as per PM&DC.
- Experience:
- Basic Sciences:3 years as Associate Professor + total 8 years as Asst. & Assoc. Professor.
- Clinical Sciences:9 years as Assistant Professor.
- Publications:15 total, with at least 6 in the last 3 years (in HEC & PM&DC recognized journals).
- ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
- Basic Sciences: Similar to Professor list.
- Clinical Sciences: Extensive list similar to Professor.
- Qualification: Phil or equivalent (MS/MD/MDS/FCPS) as per PM&DC.
- Experience:5 years as Assistant Professor in the relevant specialty.
- Publications:9 total in recognized journals.
- ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
- Basic Sciences: Similar list.
- Clinical Sciences: Extensive list.
- Qualification: Phil or equivalent (MS/MD/MDS/FCPS) as per PM&DC. Must have a Master’s in Medical Education.
- Experience:2 years as Senior Registrar.
- Publications:2 total in recognized journals.
- SENIOR REGISTRAR (Clinical Sciences only)
- Specialties: Multiple clinical departments.
- Qualification: PM&DC Level-III (FCPS/MS/MD or equivalent).
- Experience: Working experience in clinical side.
- DEMONSTRATOR (Basic Sciences & Medical Education)
- Qualification: MBBS or equivalent registered with PM&DC. Additional M.Phil/Sc in Bio-Engineering/Bio-Medical Technology preferred.
- Experience: Must have delivered at least 2 lectures in a medical college.
- BIO-MEDICAL ENGINEER
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree & experience in Community Medicine department of a medical institute.
- Experience:2 years in the relevant field of Medical Equipment.
