Career Opportunity – Pakistan WAPDA Foundation (PWF)
Position: Director General (Housing) / PD WAPDA Housing Scheme
Job Purpose
To launch and manage a housing scheme for WAPDA employees.
Tenure
- Contract basis, initially 1 year(extendable based on performance).
- Maximum 3 years or until age 65, whichever comes first.
Pay Package
- Lump sum salary (negotiable based on experience).
- Additional perks as per PWF policy.
Qualifications
- Sc. Civil Engineering or higher from an HEC-recognized university.
Age Limit
- Maximum 62 years at the time of application.
Experience Required
- 20 years total experience.
- 5 years in civil construction/housing within:
- Government / Semi-government
- Armed Forces
- DHA or similar housing societies
Key Experience Areas
- Planning and development of housing projects.
- Land procurement and consultant hiring.
- Overseeing project schedules and construction activities.
- Contract management (bidding, budgeting, forecasting, land acquisition).
- Prudent decision-making related to welfare projects.
General Requirements
- Knowledge of PPRA Rules.
- Result-oriented, organized, and motivated.
- Strong analytical, writing, communication, technical, and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant experience matching job requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategies and plans for housing society development.
- Implement decisions of the Board of Directors.
- Conduct quality audits and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Develop policies and procedures, especially for joint ventures.
- Achieve objectives set by the PWF Board.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Board related to housing projects.
