RE-ADVERTISEMENT OF VACANT SITUATION

The Project Management Office, Sindh Barrages Improvement Project advertised the below position on 24th December, 2025 in Express (English) & Daily Jang newspapers and on 26th December, 2025 in Daily Kawish newspaper. The earlier advertisements may be treated as cancel.

The PMO-SBIP intends to recruit following positions through a competitive process by re-advertisement of the vacant position. The appointment is on purely temporary basis on contract. The applicant should possess domicile of Sindh province.

This is a re-advertisement for a vacant position with the Project Management Office (PMO), Sindh Barrages Improvement Project, under the Irrigation Department, Government of Sindh.

• Assistant Director Procurement (PPS-07)
• Number of Posts:01

Qualifications & Experience:

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s in Civil/Mechanical Engineering OR a Master’s in Business Administration (Supply Chain Management/Public Procurement or related field) from an HEC-recognized university.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in procurement management.
• Preference will be given to candidates with:
  • Experience in development projects funded by foreign donors (e.g., World Bank).
  • Additional procurement-related certifications.
  • Knowledge of government rules, World Bank procurement guidelines, FIDIC, and PPRA/SPPRA rules.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and procurement-related software.
• Age Limit: Maximum 40 years.
• Domicile: Must possess a Sindh province domicile.
