GENERAL INFORMATION / INSTRUCTIONS:
- Application Process: Applications are invited through the National Jobs Portal at the link https://jobs.gov.pk. No manual or hard copy of application will be accepted by any office.
- Contract Period: Vacancies will be on contract basis for a period of two (02) years in terms of guidelines for recruitment on contract basis vide letter No. 1/1/2018-R.1 dated 15.03.2018 of Establishment Division. However, the period may be extended for further period(s) on the basis of performance assessment from time to time. In exceptional cases, further extension beyond two (2) years will be considered by the Authority.
- Appointment Process: Appointment shall be filled by appointment of persons domiciled in their respective province/district of each office after taking into account the Provincial/District quota and ratio prescribed accordingly. Candidates will be provisionally recruited from the Federally Administered Tribal Areas will be considered from their respective province now under the 25th Amendment.
- Application Deadline: Vacancies in BS-05 are ordinarily filled on local basis, however, since the jurisdiction of the Customs field formations extends beyond the respective Provincial boundaries, applications will be kept for the jurisdiction.
- Document Requirements: Candidates will be required to bring original documents (Educational, Domicile and Experience Certificate etc.) along with one (01) set of attested photocopies of the same at the time of test/interview.
- Physical Standards: Candidates are advised to ascertain their eligibility before applying on account of Educational, Domicile and Experience as well as Physical Standards Height and Chest measurement along with other physical tests that the recruitment committee may deem necessary or for any other test. A list of Sepoy will be conducted in respective province.
- Application Guidelines: Candidates shall also have to undergo physical standards (i.e. Height and Chest measurement tests).
- Age Policy: This offer is meant for those candidates who qualify through fair, transparent recruitment policy procedures.
- Information Rights: No further information/extension reserve the right to fill any vacancy or to reduce/increase the number of vacancies, will be subject to final selection.
- Additional Requirements: In addition to 05 years general upper age limit relaxation by the Government, further upper age relaxation shall be allowed under the following categories, as per relevant Rules/Policy of the Federal Government:

- Application Dates: Maximum and Minimum age shall be calculated on the closing date for receipt of applications.
- Information Accuracy: Information provided by applicants, should be correct in all respects. In case of any discrepancy/false information, Customs field formations/FBR reserves the right to cancel candidature of any candidate at any stage even after final selection. If any candidate is found involved in malpractice before or during written test/interview, his candidature will be cancelled and he will be debarred for further recruitment to the Custom field formations.
- Test/Interview: As per rules, candidates called for written test/interview will bear their own expenses as Government will not bear any expense in this regard.
- Final Decision: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
- Document Verification: No T.A./D.A will be admissible to the candidates at the time of document verification in respect of the posts where no written test is conducted. However, admissible T.A./D.A will be paid on the day of interview.
- Application Status: Candidates may apply online on or before 16.07.2024. Application received after due date will not be entertained.
