Key Responsibilities
| Area | Responsibilities |
| Privatization & Restructuring | Lead disposal/privatization of inefficient power plants in line with PPRA/NEPRA regulations. |
| Governance & Compliance | Ensure legal/regulatory adherence, risk mitigation, and transparency. |
| Stakeholder Coordination | Liaise with Power Division, NEPRA, investors, and GENCOs. |
| Financial & HR Management | Oversee asset valuation, audits, and employee absorption strategies (DISCOs). |
| Operations Oversight | Maintain power plant operations until privatization completion. |
Eligibility Criteria
| Requirement | Details |
| Education | – B.E. (Electrical/Mechanical) + PEC OR – Fellow CA/CMA (ICAP/ICMAP) OR – MBA (Reputed Institution) |
| Experience | – 10+ years in governance/business administration/finance OR – CEO/Senior Management role (commercial orgs) OR – Board-level experience in professional institutes. |
| Preferred Skills | – Strategic foresight, negotiation, change management. – Prior experience in privatization/public sector. |
| Regulatory Fit | Must meet “Fit & Proper Criteria” (SOE Act 2023). |
