Vacancies Available
The Directorate of Elementary and Secondary Education Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Peshawar and its subordinate offices require applications from eligible candidates residing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including tribal areas, for the following Computer Operator (BPS-16) positions on a permanent basis. Application forms will be available on the ETEA website from July 10, 2025, to August 08, 2025.

Selection Criteria:
The selection criteria for Computer Operators are as follows. The total marks will be divided into 200 marks:
(A) Test = 100 marks
(B) Educational Qualification = 100 marks, further divided as follows:

| One-year Diploma in Information Technology from a recognized board | (Marks Obtained / Total Marks) x 15 |
| For a four-year BS course, marks will be divided as follows: (Marks Obtained for BA/BSc (20) and Marks Obtained for MA/MSc (10)) | Total Marks |
General Terms & Conditions:
- All eligible candidates will be allowed to take the ETEA screening test.
- If any candidate is found ineligible for any reason during scrutiny by the competent authority, they will be considered disqualified for recruitment.
- All appointments will be made on a regular basis according to the prevailing laws of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, however, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Civil Servants (Amendment) Act 2022 will apply to these candidates.
- CGPA will not be allowed, and it will be mandatory to obtain a certified certificate from the relevant university’s controller of examinations confirming the conversion of CGPA to marks or percentage.
- Original educational certificates along with the original CNIC must be presented at the time of document verification.
- If the recruitment procedure is changed by the government after this advertisement, the competent authority, including ETEA, will be bound to follow the government-approved rules and regulations.
- All appointments will be made according to the rules and procedures laid down by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for the test/interview.
- Government employees should apply through the proper channel.
- Applications submitted after the due date will not be entertained.
- Applications received without the required documents or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
- ETEA reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel the advertisement at any stage without assigning any reason.
- Candidates who have obtained their degrees from private institutions must have their degrees recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
- In case of any dispute, the decision of the competent authority will be final.
- The last date for submission of applications is August 08, 2025.
- Candidates who have already applied for these posts in the advertisement published in 2008 and whose applications are still under consideration should submit fresh applications.
- In case of any error or omission in the advertisement, the office reserves the right to rectify it.
- Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be entertained.
