University of Southern Punjab, Multan Announces Faculty and Staff Positions

The University of Southern Punjab, Multan, a chartered institution recognized by the HEC, has announced a number of vacancies for various faculty and staff positions. The deadline for submitting applications is September 8, 2025.

Faculty Positions Available

The university is seeking applications for the roles of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Lecturer across a wide range of departments:

• Business Administration: Specializations in General Business Administration, HR & Finance, and Hospitality & Tourism Management.

• Computer Science & Information Technology: Specializations in AI & Cyber Security, Software Engineering, and Data Science.

• Engineering: Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineering.

• Sciences: Chemistry and Physics.

• Humanities and Social Sciences: Psychology, Islamic Studies, Urdu, Mass Communication, Law, Fine Arts, Economics, Architecture, Education, and English.

• Health Sciences: Pharmacy, Nursing, and Faculty of Allied Health Sciences with specializations in DPT/MLT/HND/OTT/Sports Science.

Staff Positions Available

In addition to faculty roles, the university is also hiring for several administrative and technical positions:

• Deputy Director Accounts: Requires ACMA/ACCA/CA from an HEC-recognized institution with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

• Director/Adl. Director Security/Supervisor Security: Preference will be given to retired Army or Police Officers with relevant experience.

• Deputy Director/Manager (ORIC & QEC): Requires a PhD/M.Phil/Master’s degree with 4-5 years of experience in the relevant field.

• Network Administrator: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 2-3 years of experience in network administration and management.

• Hardware Engineer: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 2-3 years of experience in hardware management and repair.

• Computer Lab Assistant: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience.

• Teacher Assistant (for CS, IT, AI, Data Science & Cyber Security): Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS & IT with 2-3 years of relevant experience.

• Cyber Security Analyst: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS & IT with 2-3 years of relevant experience.

• Lab Assistants (for Civil/Pharmacy/Nursing/MLT/DPT/HND): Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience.

Application Instructions

1. Application Form: Candidates must download the application form from the university’s website: http://usp.edu.pk/career.

2. Deadline: The last date to apply is September 8, 2025. Hard copies of the application form and all required documents must reach the Office of the HR, University of Southern Punjab, 9-KM Bosan Road, Multan, by September 11, 2025, during office hours.

3. Application Fee: A non-refundable application processing fee must be deposited via a system-generated challan. The fees are as follows:

   • Professor: Rs. 3,000

   • Associate Professor: Rs. 2,000

   • Assistant Professor: Rs. 1,500

   • Lecturer and Administrative posts: Rs. 1,000

4. Eligibility: All academic positions must meet the eligibility criteria set by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

5. Important Notes:

   • Separate application forms and processing fees are required for each post applied for.

   • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview. No TA/DA will be provided.

   • The university reserves the right to fill, withdraw, or withhold any advertised post without assigning any reason.

   • Candidates currently serving in government/semi-government departments must submit a Departmental Permission Certificate/NOC.
