Recruitment of Junior Commissioned Officers (Naib Khateeb) and Soldiers (Sipahi)

Registration and applications will be accepted from 1st September to 23rd November 2025

Eligibility Requirements:

For Naib Khateeb (Junior Commissioned Officer):

• Pakistani male citizens only.

• Age: 20 to 28 years as of 24 April 2025. For candidates already serving in the Army, age limit is 22 to 35 years. Hafiz-e-Quran gets one year age relaxation.

• Height: Minimum 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm).

• Qualification:

  • Dars-e-Nizami from a recognized religious institution.

  • Hifz-ul-Quran certificate.

  • Proficiency in Qira’at and Tajweed.

  • Preference for those with additional qualifications like F.A./B.A. or M.A. in Islamic Studies/Arabic.

For Soldier (Sipahi):

• Age: 17½ to 23 years as of 24 April 2025. For graduates, age relaxation up to 24 years, for drivers up to 25 years.

• Height:

  • General Duty Soldier: 5 feet 6 inches (167.5 cm).

  • Clerk & Cook: 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm).

  • Military Police: 5 feet 8 inches (173 cm).

  • Driver: 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm).

• Qualification:

  • Soldier (GD): Matric or higher.

  • Clerk: Intermediate or higher with computer skills.

  • Cook: Middle pass.

  • Driver: Middle pass with driving license.

Selection Procedure:

• Candidates must register online at www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk or visit the nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Centre (AS&RC) from 1st September to 23rd November 2025.

• Written, physical, medical, and interview tests will be conducted.

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for training.

Documents Required:

• Original educational certificates and 2 attested photocopies.

• CNIC or B-Form and attested copy.

• Father’s CNIC attested copy.

• 4 passport-size photographs attested by a gazetted officer.

Quota:

• Candidates from all provinces including Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, and FATA are eligible according to allocated quotas.

Note:

• Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

• During training, selected candidates will be provided free accommodation, uniforms, and food.
