VACANT POST
The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Islamabad, invites applications for the post of Chairman/Chairperson, Implementation Tribunal for Newspaper Employees (ITNE) under Section 12(2) of the Newspaper Employees (Conditions of Service) Act, 1973. Applications are sought from Pakistani citizens of good repute and standing who meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualification and Experience
The mandatory educational qualification and experience for the candidate are as follows:
a. A retired judge of the High Court or an individual eligible to be appointed as a High Court judge is eligible to apply.
b. The upper age limit for this position is 62 years as of the last date for submission of applications.

Contract Duration
The appointment of the Chairman/Chairperson will be for three (3) years, which will not be extendable.
Duties
The Chairman/Chairperson will perform their duties in accordance with the Newspaper Employees (Conditions of Service) Act, 1973.
Remuneration
The Chairman/Chairperson will be paid salary, allowances, and perquisites as per Management Scale Position (MP-I) issued by the Establishment Division vide O.M. No. 1/3/2020-E-6, dated January 12, 2021.
