2. Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification:
  • A minimum Second Division Bachelor’s degree (14 years of education) from a recognized university in any one of the following fields:
  • Economics, Development Studies, Agriculture Science, Health Planning and Management, Industrial Economics, Educational Planning and Management, Statistics, Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Science and Information Technology, Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, Developmental Management, Disaster Management.
  • OR a B.SC/B.E Degree in: Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Urban and Regional Planning, City Development, Regional Planning, Town Planning, Industrial Engineering, Mining Engineering, Public Health Engineering, Transport Engineering, Agriculture Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
• Age Limit:21 to 30 years (as of January 1, 2025).
  • Age Relaxation is available for specific groups (see detailed conditions below).

• There will be a Competitive Examination.

5. Key General Conditions & Instructions

• Application: Must be submitted online through the KPPSC website before the deadline.
• Age Calculation: Age will be calculated as of January 1, 2025.
• Age Relaxation:
  • 10 years: For disabled persons, divorced women, and widows.
  • 05 years: For minorities.
  • 03 years: For candidates from specified backward areas.
  • Government Employees: Current/ex-employees of development projects may get relaxation equal to their service period (max 10 years).
  • Note: A candidate can only avail relaxation from one category.
• Domicile:
  • Must have a domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
  • A candidate can only claim one domicile.
  • Married females can choose their husband’s domicile or retain their own. The choice made in the application is final.
• Documents: Degrees and certificates from unrecognized institutions will not be accepted.
• Government Employees: Must provide a departmental permission certificate before the interview/exam.
• Chances: Candidates are allowed three chances for this specific competitive examination.
• Important Note: If a candidate is found ineligible at any stage (even after passing the exam), their candidature will be cancelled. Applicants are advised to ensure they meet all criteria before applying.
