• Title: Post-Doctoral Fellowship
• Number of Posts: One (1)
• Monthly Salary: 165,000 (consolidated)

2. Qualifications & Experience

• Required: A Ph.D. from an HEC-recognized University/Institute in one of the following fields:
  • Biotechnology
  • Microbiology
  • Animal Sciences
  • Biological Sciences
• Preferred:
  • Experience in Gene Editing.
  • Candidates who have recently finished their Ph.D. will be preferred.
• Age Limit: Maximum 45 years old on the closing date (September 30, 2025).
• Additional Requirement: Applicants must submit a clearly written research proposal relevant to the project’s domains:
  • Fruit Crops
  • Vegetable Crops
  • Field Crops
  • Human Health

3. General Terms & Conditions

• Application Fee: A non-refundable fee of Rs. 500 must be deposited into the specified MCB Bank account (0720930181002449, titled “Evening Fee Account”). The deposit slip must mention the name of the post.
• Employment Type: This is a contract-based, project position. It is not a permanent government job and has no promise of future regularization.
• Tenure: The initial appointment is for one year, which may be extended based on project funding availability.
• Government Employees: Those already in government service must apply through the proper channel.
• Selection Process:
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a test/interview.
  • No travel or daily allowances (TA/DA)will be provided for the interview.
