Position: Additional District & Sessions Judge (BPS-20)

Salary: Approximately Rs. 396,640 per month

Key Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality & Residence: Must be a citizen of Pakistan with a domicile and permanent residence in the Province of Sindh.
- Education:
- A Degree in Law from a recognized university, OR
- Be a Barrister of Law from England or Ireland, OR
- Be a Member of the Faculty of Advocates of Scotland.
- Experience (One of the following):
- A minimum of 6 years as a practicing Advocate of the High Court and subordinate courts, OR
- Have held a judicial office for not less than 6 years with a clean service record.

Selection Process:
The selection will be a multi-stage process:
- First Preliminary Test: A multiple-choice question (MCQ) exam. Candidates must score at least 60% to qualify.
- Second Written Subjective Test: Consists of two papers for those who pass the first test.
- Paper-I: Subjective questions on related laws.
- Paper-II: Analytical test on judgment writing, essay writing, and situation analysis.
- Candidates must score an aggregate of 60%to qualify for the interview.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview where they must produce all original documents.
Important Notes:
- Previous Applicants (2022):Candidates who applied for a similar post in August 2022 do not need to re-apply. However, they must submit a fresh request confirming their interest by the closing date.
- Government Employees: Must apply through the proper channel with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) and a copy of their appointment order.
- No TA/DA: No travel or daily allowances will be provided for tests or interviews.
- Incomplete Applications: Will be rejected outright.
