Position Title: Executive Director

Key Responsibilities:

The Executive Director will be responsible for:

• Strategic Leadership: Implementing policy decisions and preparing strategic plans.
• Academic Oversight: Promoting academic excellence, research, and development.
• Administrative Management: Supervising faculty, staff, and day-to-day operations.
• Financial Oversight: Preparing budgets, allocating resources, and ensuring financial sustainability.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
• Student Success: Fostering a positive learning environment and addressing student concerns.
• Reporting: Reporting directly to the Ministry of Industries and the Board of Governors.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: D. or M.Phil. in Education, Management, Economics, or Business Administration from an HEC-recognized institution.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 25 years of total professional experience.
  • At least 10 years in a top-tier leadership role such as Dean, Director, Head of Department in an educational institute, or a top-level managerial position in a reputable public/private organization.
• Research & Teaching: A strong academic record with publications in reputable journals, significant citations, and experience in teaching and curriculum design.
• Administrative Skills: Proven experience in managing programs, budgets, and human resources.

Age Limit:

• Maximum 65 years old as of the application closing date.

Terms & Conditions:

• Contract: Initial 2-year contract, extendable for another 2 years based on satisfactory performance and Board approval.
• Termination: The contract can be terminated by either party with one month’s prior notice or one month’s salary in lieu of notice.
• Salary: A market-competitive package will be offered based on qualifications and experience.
