2. Key Responsibilities
The CCO will be responsible for:
- Strategy & Leadership: Formulating and leading the overall commercial and investment strategy for KWSC.
- Department Management: Developing and managing the Commercial Department.
- Tariff Management: Leading the creation of a tariff review framework and presenting tariff proposals to the KWSC Board and Government of Sindh.
- Revenue & Customer Systems: Overseeing revenue management and customer engagement systems.
- Deal Structuring: Managing commercial arrangements, Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), and investment opportunities for development projects.
- Financing: Mobilizing long-term financing through various instruments and partnerships with local and international stakeholders.
- Negotiations: Leading negotiations for concession agreements and commercial contracts.
- Representation: Representing KWSC in high-level engagements with investors, developers, and government stakeholders.
- Strategic Advice: Advising the CEO and Board on commercial and investment decisions.
- Performance Monitoring: Establishing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for commercial activities.
3. Qualifications and Experience
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in commercial management, finance, infrastructure development, or investment.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale commercial or infrastructure initiatives and engaging with government stakeholders.
- Specialized Knowledge: Knowledge of structuring financial/investment transactions; experience with PPPs is preferred.
- Education: A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a professional qualification like CA, CFA, ACCA, or ICMA.
