Overview

The Punjab Social Protection Authority (PSPA) is recruiting for two key areas to support its flagship project, the Punjab Socio-Economic Registry (PSER). The project aims to create a comprehensive, data-driven system to guide social policy and development planning in Punjab.

1. Research Specialist Position

• Post Title: Research Specialist
• Pay Scale:PPS-10
• Pay Package: Up to Rs. 700,000 per annum
• Maximum Age Limit:50 years

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: At least 16 years of education (Master’s degree or equivalent) from an HEC-recognized university in Economics, Sociology, Statistics, Public Policy, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in field sector research, data collection, and data analysis.
• Preferred: Experience in managing large-scale surveys and research projects in socio-economic contexts.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, Stata, R, or Python) and data visualization tools.
• Strong understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
• Ability to align research with strategic goals and solve challenges in surveys and data analysis.

2. Information Technology (IT) Positions

PSPA is hiring for several IT roles within the Project Management Unit (PMU) for PSER.

A. Team Lead (Information Technology)

• Post Title: Team Lead (Information Technology)
• Pay Scale:PPS-11
• Pay Package: Up to Rs. 800,000 per annum
• Maximum Age Limit:50 years

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: At least 16 years of education in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution.
• Experience:10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Expertise: Proven experience in managing large-scale IT operations, particularly with big data technologies, cloud computing, technical architecture, data warehousing, and cybersecurity.

B. Software Development Specialist

• Post Title: Software Development Specialist
• Pay Scale:PPS-10
• Pay Package: Up to Rs. 700,000 per annum
• Maximum Age Limit:45 years

C. Database Administrator

• Post Title: Database Administrator
• Pay Scale:PPS-09
• Pay Package: Up to Rs. 502,250 per annum
• Maximum Age Limit:45 years

D. Software Developer

• Post Title: Software Developer
• Pay Scale:PPS-08
• Pay Package: Up to Rs. 358,750 per annum
