Ad-hoc Appointments as Lecturers / Instructors
Colleges of the Education Department
Applications are invited from eligible residents of Azad Jammu and Kashmir for ad-hoc appointments to vacant posts of teaching staff, Lecturers/Instructors (BS-17), etc., in institutions under the control of the Education Department Colleges, details of which are given below.
Candidates holding at least a Master’s degree or a four-year BS degree or equivalent educational qualification (at least Second Division) in the relevant subject can apply online through the form available on the department’s website https://hed.ajk.gov.pk/jobs within 15 days of the publication of this advertisement. The submitted application must be duly verified by Email, and a copy of the Email must be brought at the time of the test/interview, otherwise, candidates will not be allowed to appear in the test/interview. Information/schedule regarding the test/interview will be communicated via Email.

How to Apply:
- Applicants’ age limit is a minimum of 21 years and a maximum of 40 years.
- Government employees must submit their applications through the proper channel.
- Candidates are required to bring original educational certificates, domicile, national identity card, and attested copies of all other documents at the time of the test/interview.
- All ad-hoc appointments shall be made in accordance with Rule 23 of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Civil Servants (Appointment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1977.
- CGPA obtained marks must be converted to percentage.
- Ad-hoc appointments will be effective for six months or until the selection of suitable candidates by the Public Service Commission, whichever comes first.
- Ad-hoc appointments do not create any right for permanent appointment.
- No travel allowance will be paid to candidates appearing for the test/interview.
- Candidates providing any false information in the online application will be disqualified and will not be allowed to appear in the test/interview.
