Job Summary
The Bank of Punjab (BOP) is recruiting for a senior-level position within its Risk Management Group. This role is ideal for an experienced banking professional with a strong background in credit risk, non-performing loans (NPLs), and recovery management.
Position Details
- Job Title:Divisional Head SAM (Risk Management Group)
- Grade:EVP-1 / EVP (Executive Vice President)
- Location:Lahore, Pakistan
Key Responsibilities
The Divisional Head will be responsible for managing and recovering the bank’s non-performing portfolio. Key duties include:
- Managing the restructuring and rescheduling of loans in line with bank policy and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations.
- Conducting in-depth business analysis and debt valuation for troubled accounts.
- Leading the remedial management of the Non-Performing Portfolio.
- Liaising with legal counsel to file and monitor recovery lawsuits against defaulters.
- Crafting and implementing aggressive recovery strategies, including civil/criminal litigation, placing names on the Exit Control List (ECL), and asset attachment.
- Developing and maintaining a robust Management Information System (MIS).
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification:Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from an HEC recognized university or a foreign university.
- Age:Up to 55 years as of October 26, 2025.
- Experience:Minimum 10 years of banking experience.
- Preferred Experience:At least 8 years of relevant experience in Credit, NPLs, or SAM portfolio handling.
