Mandatory Requirements
Requirement | Criteria |
Qualification | B.Sc./B.E (Civil Engineering) from HEC-recognized university. Must be registered as a Professional Engineer with PEC. Preference: Additional degree in MBA/Project Management. |
Experience | Minimum 10 years in project management/implementation. At least 5 years must be specifically on Road Projects. |
Age Limit | Maximum 63 years |
Salary Package
- PPS-10with a 5% increase at the initial stage (as per Finance Division Notification No.F.4(9)R-14/2008 dated 18-April-2022).
Key Responsibilities (Terms of Reference)
The Project Director will be responsible for:
- Execution of the project as per approved scope, cost, and timeline.
- Ensuring compliance with GIFRs, Procurement Rules, and Contract Management Rules.
- Monitoring the project to prevent time and cost overruns.
- Establishing procedures for reviewing progress reports and monitoring & evaluation.
- Identifying risks and formulating a risk management plan.
- Preparing and submitting reports for decision-making.
- Working effectively with project stakeholders and staff.
- Developing indicators to track results and implementation progress.
- Maintaining all project documents and submitting project status/completion reports (PC-III/IV).
Terms & Conditions
Condition | Details |
1. Appointment Period | 2 years on contract, extendable based on satisfactory performance and project continuation. |
2. Government Employees | Must apply through proper channel with an NOC from their Head of Department/Secretary. |
3. How to Apply | Submit a signed application with full details, attested copies of CNIC, domicile, qualifications, experience certificates, and 3 passport-size photos. |
4. Deadline | Applications must be received within 30 days of the advertisement’s publication. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. |

6. Regularization | The position has no right of regularization. |
