Applications are invited by the Directorate of Electricity Circle Muzaffarabad, Azad Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir, in continuation of Notification No. TA/2024/9129-39/1 dated 09/10/2024, following the decision of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Cabinet on 09/08/2024 regarding the reorganization of the Electricity Department. Applications are sought from suitable candidates for filling the following vacant positions in the sub-divisions under the jurisdiction of Operation Division Muzaffarabad, Muzaffarabad I, Muzaffarabad II, and Garhi Dupatta in the Muzaffarabad district.

Candidates related to Sub-Division Airport, Garhi Dupatta are required to submit their applications according to the required educational qualifications by the office hours of 04/06/2025 to the office of the Executive Engineer, Electricity Operation Division (Garhi Dupatta). Candidates from Operation Division No. I Muzaffarabad and Operation Division No. II Muzaffarabad are required to submit their applications by 04/06/2025 to the office of the Executive Engineer, Electricity Operation Division I Muzaffarabad, located at E Block, District Complex.

1. Appointments against permanent vacant posts will be made in light of the departmental rules issued on 02/09/2010.
2. The positions of previously appointed ad hoc/temporary employees in the aforementioned posts are not included in this advertisement, in accordance with the circular No. Admin-M-2(2)/2024 dated 16 December 2024 of the Services and General Administration Department. However, temporary employees are eligible to apply based on their prescribed educational qualifications.
3. The age limit for applicants is set between 18 and 40 years.
4. Employees appointed in other departments are eligible to apply through their respective departments.
5. It is necessary to attach attested copies of educational and professional certificates/DMC, domicile, state subject certificate, and national identity card with the application. Educational certificates must be issued before the closing date.
6. It is necessary to obtain 40% marks to pass the written test.
7. It is mandatory to present the original national identity card and educational documents on the day of the interview.
8. Applications from candidates who do not meet the required education, professional qualification, age, etc., will be rejected.
9. No TA/DA will be given for appearing in the interview.
10. The written test for candidates of Electricity Operation Division III Muzaffarabad (Garhi Dupatta) will be held on 20/06/2025 at Post Graduate College Garhi Dupatta at 11:00 AM. The written test for candidates of Operation Division I & II Muzaffarabad will be held on 24/06/2025 at Government Boys Degree College No. 1 Muzaffarabad at 11:00 AM.
