VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Divisional Director Health Services, Quetta Division invites applications from eligible and qualified candidate for the appointment of District Surveillance Officer (B-17), which are lying vacant in various district of Quetta Division, on purely contract basis initially for a period of (01) one year, extendable on satisfactory performance. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview later on.
📄 Job Title: District Surveillance Officer (DSO)
📌 Grade: B-17
📍 Locations: Chaman and Killa Abdullah districts in Quetta Division
📋 Total Posts: 3 (Chaman: 1, Killa Abdullah: 2)
📅 Contract Period: 1 year (extendable based on performance)
🎓 Eligibility Criteria:
- MBBS/BDS degree from a PMDC-recognized institute
- Permanent PMDC registration with postgraduate qualification
- Priority given to candidates with SPH/MPH/FETP Fellowship
📝 Job Responsibilities:
- Lead, coordinate, and supervise all disease surveillance activities
- Act as the single point of accountability for surveillance data and outbreak response
- Conduct active case searches, community engagement, and outbreak investigations
- Manage data reporting and achieve surveillance targets
