Position Summaries

1. Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

  • Role:To provide overall strategic leadership, transform the company into a financially sustainable and operationally viable entity, and align its operations with government energy policies.
  • Reports to:Board of Directors
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Formulate and implement long-term business strategy.
    • Ensure operational excellence and timely project execution.
    • Oversee financial sustainability and resource utilization.
    • Lead the senior management team and foster a high-performance culture.
    • Manage relationships with government, regulators, and other stakeholders.
  • Qualifications:
    • Education:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration (or a professional qualification like CA, ACMA, ACCA recognized as a Master’s equivalent by HEC).
    • Experience: 15 years, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in the power or similar infrastructure sector.
    • Age: 55 years (relaxable for exceptional candidates).

2. Company Secretary

  • Role:To ensure robust corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and serve as the primary link between the Board, its Chairman, and the CEO.
  • Reports to:Board of Directors (BOD)
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Organize Board and Committee meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes.
    • Maintain all statutory books and records as per SECP requirements.
    • Advise the Board on governance, ethics, and compliance matters.
    • Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, 2017, and the State-Owned Enterprises Act, 2023.
  • Qualifications:
    • Education:CA, ACMA, CFA, or a Master’s degree in Law or Business Administration from an HEC-recognized university.
    • Experience: 15 years, with at least 5 years as a Company Secretary in a senior management role within a reputable public sector organization.
    • Age: 55 years.

3. Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

  • Role:To steer the company’s financial management towards sustainable growth and profitability, ensuring financial health and compliance.
  • Reports to:CEO and Board Audit & Finance Committee
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement financial strategies and investment plans.
    • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in line with IFRS.
    • Manage treasury, cash flow, and banking relationships.
    • Develop financial risk management frameworks and internal controls.
  • Qualifications:
    • Education:CA or ACMA with a Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration from an HEC-recognized university.
    • Experience: 15 years, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in the power or similar infrastructure sector.
    • Age: 55 years (relaxable for exceptional candidates).

  • Remuneration:A market-based competitive salary package will be offered.
  • Tenure:Contract basis for three (3) years, with possible renewal for another two (2) years based on performance.
