Job Summary
The Government of Balochistan’s Planning & Development Department is hiring a Project Director for a specific forestry project. This is a contract-based position.
Key Position Details
- Job Title: Project Director
- Number of Posts:1
- Project: Ten Billion Trees Tsunami Programme Phase-1 (Forestry Component)
- Location: Balochistan (Provincial)
- Job Type: Contract
- Contract Duration: Initial 2 years, extendable yearly based on satisfactory performance until the project ends.
- Pay Scale: As per the Project Director Policy.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- A minimum of 16 years of education from an HEC-recognized institution in one of the following:
- BS/BE in Engineering (must be registered with PEC)
- Project Management
- MBA / MPA
- Master’s or 4-year BS in Economics or other relevant fields.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience.
- Experience must be in implementing rural/urban planning, infrastructure development, and project managementin public or private sector development projects.
- Must have strong knowledge of Government of Pakistan’s project planning and implementation procedures.
- Preferred: Previous experience as a Project Director in the public sector and/or experience working with the Forest sector in Balochistan.
Age Limit:
- Minimum:35 years
- Maximum:62 years (as of the appointment date)
