Job Summary: Project Director
The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) of the Government of Balochistan is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Project Director to lead a major water supply development project in Quetta.
1. Position Details
- Job Title:Project Director

- Pay Scale:PPS-9
- Project Name:Balochistan Water Security and Productivity Improvement Project (Improvement of Quetta Water Supply)
2. Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degreein one of the following fields:
- Civil Engineering
- Project Management
- A water-related specialization (e.g., Water Resource Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Supply and Sanitation, Water Resources Management).
- The degree must be from a foreign university or an HEC-recognized Pakistani university.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 10 yearsof progressive experience in the planning, implementation, supervision, and management of infrastructure development projects.
- Within those 10 years, at least 5 yearsmust be specifically in the water sector (e.g., water supply, sanitation, water resources management).
- Preferred (but not mandatory) experience:
- Working with urban water/sanitation agencies in Pakistan (e.g., WASAs, PHEDs, water boards).
- Managing donor-funded projects.
- Skills:
- Proven leadership, coordination, and team management skills.
- Age Limit:
- Minimum: 40 years
- Maximum: 62 years
- Domicile:
- Must have a Balochistan domicile.
