Eligibility Criteria
- Education: A Master’s degree (minimum 16 years of education) in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Experience: At least 20 years of professional experience in accountancy, commerce, economics, finance, or law.
- Age Limit: Maximum 62 years at the time of application.
- Shortlisting: If more than 15 eligible candidates apply, shortlisting will be based on higher qualifications, leadership roles, and regulatory experience.
Terms of Appointment
- Tenure: The appointment is for a term of 3 years.
- Retirement Age: The selected candidate must retire upon reaching 65 years of age or at the end of the 3-year term, whichever comes first.
- Resignation Required: Candidates currently working in government, semi-government, or private sector jobs must resign or retire from their current position before joining the CCP.
Salary and Benefits
- The remuneration package is as per the Competition Commission Rules, 2009.
- The salary will be at the median of the MP-I scale and will include annual increments.
