Job Summary: Financial Management Specialist at Government of Sindh
The Finance Department of the Government of Sindh is offering 06 contract-based positions for Financial Management Specialists.
1. Key Details

- Job Type: Contract (3 years, extendable for another 3 years based on performance).

2. Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications: Must hold a professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, CPA, or CFA in Finance/Accounting.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Financial Management. Experience in the public sector is preferred.
- Age Limit: Maximum 35
3. Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and audit processes.
- Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
4. Job Responsibilities
The role is comprehensive and includes:
- Formulating, executing, and monitoring budgets.
- Developing financial plans for provincial government departments.
- Reviewing grant applications and preparing recommendations.
- Ensuring compliance with financial rules and regulations (e.g., Sindh Grant-in-Aid Rules).
- Preparing financial reports, utilization certificates, and facilitating internal/external audits.
- Maintaining financial databases and providing training to other departments.
- Any other duties related to financial management as assigned.
