Job Summary: Financial Management Specialist at Government of Sindh

The Finance Department of the Government of Sindh is offering 06 contract-based positions for Financial Management Specialists.

2. Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualifications: Must hold a professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, CPA, or CFA in Finance/Accounting.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Financial Management. Experience in the public sector is preferred.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 35

3. Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and audit processes.
  • Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

4. Job Responsibilities

The role is comprehensive and includes:

  • Formulating, executing, and monitoring budgets.
  • Developing financial plans for provincial government departments.
  • Reviewing grant applications and preparing recommendations.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial rules and regulations (e.g., Sindh Grant-in-Aid Rules).
  • Preparing financial reports, utilization certificates, and facilitating internal/external audits.
  • Maintaining financial databases and providing training to other departments.
  • Any other duties related to financial management as assigned.
