SELECTION PROCEDURE

• Online Registration at www.joinpaf.gov.pk

• Intelligence Test followed by Academic Test in the following subjects through e-Testing:-

  • All candidates with Pre-Medical background for Permanent Commission: English & Physics

  • All candidates with Pre-Engg / ICS / DAE background for Permanent Commission: English, Physics & Maths

  • 05 GD(P) Supplementary Course / 136 CSC: Academic test in relevant subject

• Initial Medical Examination & Interview at I&S Centre.

• Initial Physical Test:

  • Running: 1 Mile – 08 Minutes

  • Push-Ups: 15 – 02 Minutes

  • Sit-Ups: 20 – 02 Minutes

  • Chin-Ups: 03 – 02 Minutes

• Only Shortlisted candidates would be called for ISSB.

• Test / Interview by ISSB Kohat / Gujranwala / Malir / Quetta.

• Final Medical Examination at CMB Lahore.

• Flying Aptitude Test (FAT) of GD (P) candidates only at I&S C Rawalpindi.

• Final selection by Air Headquarters in order of merit.

• Appearing candidates are also eligible to apply provided they have obtained 70% Marks in F.Sc / A’ Level Part-I and bring a certificate from the Principal that they are likely to pass FSc / ‘A’ Level examination in the prescribed grades (FSc courses only).

• Candidates who have completed their educational qualification (SSC / HSSC / O&A Level / Equivalency etc) from national / foreign academic institutions are required to get attestation of their educational documents from IBCC prior to joining PAF.

INELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS
A candidate is ineligible if he is:-
(a) Rejected by ISSB / GHQ / NHQ / AHQ Selection boards.
(b) Twice Screened out by ISSB.
(c) Tested within four months (120 days) gap of previous appearance in ISSB.
(d) Dismissed / Removed / Debarred from Govt services including armed forces.
(e) Convicted in a court of law for any heinous offense.
(f) Permanently declared UNFIT by Appeal Medical Board.
(g) Declared medically unfit due to Hepatitis B & C.
(h) Withdrawn from any bonded armed forces college / institution on disciplinary grounds.
(i) Withdrawn / Discharged / resigned or purchase release from any armed forces officers academy / training institution on any ground.
(j) Tempering of academic certificates / forgery / concealment to get undue advantage will make an applicant permanently ineligible for all types of commission in Armed forces.
(k) Gives incomplete, false or wrongful information.
(l) Thrice screened out by Army / Navy / Air Force during preliminary selection.
