Selection Procedure
- Applications are invited against these posts on contract basis for the period of 1 year extendable subject to performance.
- Apply online on Central Testing Service (CTS) website ctspak.comor link available at ESD website www.rescue.gov.pk latest by 16-10-2025 and send APPLICATION FORMS by post to Central Testing Service.
- Only completely filled applications fulfilling the complete criteria shall be accepted.
- Any communication shall be made through CTS & ESD websites.
- Written & psychological tests, Physical tests and Skill tests shall be held at designated place.
- List of qualifying candidates shall be displayed on CTS & ESD websites after each process.
- Final interview shall be conducted at the Emergency Services Department Headquarters at Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore.
- At the time of interview, candidate shall submit a medical report issued by the Government Teaching Hospital or DHO Hospital regarding their physical examination (height, weight, chest, eyesight and physical deformities) and laboratory tests for Hepatitis B&C, HIV and RPR.
Terms and Conditions
- Any person with vision less than 6/6 each eye (without glasses) and color blind, obesity with BMI 30 or above and Hepatitis B & C, HIV and RPR positive shall be shortlisted at any stage.
- No relaxation in age or qualification (Army/Civil). However the Emergency Services Department employees shall be given 5 years age relaxation in upper age limit only for administrative posts.
- Preference will be given to the candidates with height more than 5′.6″ whereas minimum chest size will be 33″.
- Candidates are directed to apply only for one suitable post. However, appropriate candidate may be adjusted against other suitable post on recommendation of the Recruitment Committee.
- Local residents as per CNIC will be given preference.
- 5% quota for minorities & 15% quota for females shall be reserved. Shemales can also apply.
- In case of the large number of applicants, only applications with preferred/enhanced criteria shall be considered. Candidates have to justify their eligibility as per advertised criteria as all the documents are accepted provisionally and offer of appointment is subject to verification of documents, Police Verification, satisfactory medical report constituted by Government of the Punjab and clearance by the medical board.
