Detailed Job Description
1. Job Title
Procurement Specialist
2. Required Qualification
- A Master’s degree (or 16 years of education) in one of the following fields:
- Procurement, MBA in Logistics & Supply Chain
- Engineering, Economics, Business Administration
- Or another relevant discipline
- The degree must be from an accredited university.
3. Required Experience & Skills
- Experience: At least 7 years of verifiable, post-qualification experience in procuring Goods, Works, and Consulting services.
- Specific Skills:
- Hands-on experience in technical bid evaluation, contract award, and management for government or donor-funded projects.
- Knowledge of World Bank Procurement Regulations (PPRs) is a significant advantage.
- Experience with the World Bank’s STEP(Systematic Tracking of Exchanges in Procurement) system is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project) and related software.
