Lady Health Workers Program for Family Planning and Primary Health Care

Applications are invited from suitable female candidates for appointment on approved, contract, and fixed salary basis for Lady Health Workers (BPS-05) for Peshawar district under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Workers Program for Primary Health Care (Regulation of Lady Health Workers and Standardization Act 2014). The names of the Union Councils and the list of already identified vacancies will be available on the notice board of this office. Recruitment will be done on merit basis in the following Union Councils:

VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Applications are invited from eligible female candidates for appointment as Lady Health Workers (BPS-05) on a contract/fixed salary basis under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Workers Program for Primary Health Care (Regulation of Lady Health Workers and Standardization Act 2014) for Peshawar district.

Post Details:

• Position: Lady Health Worker (BPS-05)
• Location: Multiple Union Councils and Centers across Peshawar District (as listed).
• Age Limit:
  • Married Women: 18 to 45 years
  • Unmarried Women: 20 to 45 years

Educational Qualification & Requirements:

1. Minimum Matriculation pass. Higher qualifications will be preferred.
2. Preferably married women and permanent residents of the specific Union Council/area they are applying for.
3. Preference will be given to women with community development experience (CD, CBD).
4. Candidates must be willing to provide services from their own homes (designated as ‘Health House’) to link the community with the public healthcare system.

Terms & Conditions:

• Only female candidates with domicile of Peshawar district and permanent residence in the relevant Union Council/area are eligible.
• Application forms are available at this office. Only official form submissions will be processed.
• Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be considered.
• Selection process includes a written test(50% passing marks required to qualify for interview).
• Shortlisted candidates must bring original documents, CNIC, and residence certificate verified by the concerned Union Council Secretaryat the time of interview.
• Government/semi-government employees must apply through the proper channel.
• Spot verification of catchment area will be conducted after selection committee recommendation.
• The number of posts may be increased/decreased as per requirement.
• False information will result in disqualification.
• Recruitment will be made on merit, and quotas for minorities and disabled persons will be observed as per government policy.
• No TA/DA will be provided for test/interview.
