Key Qualifications & Experience
- Medical Qualification: Must be a medical graduate with an MBBS or equivalent.
- Higher Specialization: Must possess a higher diploma like FCPS, FRCP, FRCs, or a US Board Certification (or equivalent) in any clinical specialty recognized by the PM&DC.
- Clinical Excellence: A proven record of excellence in clinical care.
- Management Experience: At least three years of management or administration experience as the head of a major clinical unit in a leading hospital.
- Skills Required:
- Excellent communication, team-building, and stress-management skills.
- Strong medical and non-medical management skills.
- Proven leadership and project management abilities.
Main Responsibilities
The Medical Director will be the head of all clinical functions, responsible for:
- Ensuring high-quality patient care and appropriate patient management.
- Leading clinical governance and quality control.
- Implementing and auditing clinical programs and guidelines.
- Developing annual clinical plans and policies.
- Reporting to the Hospital Director, Management Committee, and the Board of Governors.
Terms & Conditions
- Application Fee: 3000 (non-refundable) must be deposited in Habib Bank Limited.
- Contract: The position is for a 5-year contract, renewable based on satisfactory performance.
- Faculty Appointment: The selected candidate will also receive a faculty appointment commensurate with their qualifications.
- Private Practice: No outside private or consultancy practice is permitted.
- Government Employees: Must provide a ‘Willingness Certificate’ to leave their current service and must secure acceptance of their resignation before the probation period ends.
- Conflict of Interest: The Medical Director must have no conflict of interest.
