Career Opportunities in Compliance – Karachi

National Bank of Pakistan is seeking talented, dedicated, and experienced professionals for the following positions in the Compliance Department based in Karachi.

1. Unit Head – Fraud Reporting & Whistle Blow (AVP/VP)

• Reporting to: Wing Head – Whistle Blow, Fraud Reporting & E.A. Coordination
• Education: Minimum Graduation (HEC recognized). Master’s degree or professional certifications preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in banking compliance, fraud investigation, or regulatory reporting, with exposure to whistleblowing mechanisms.
• Key Skills:
  • Knowledge of SBP Fraud Risk Management Guidelines
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Power BI)
  • Analytical, communication, and team management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Responsibilities:
  • Manage whistleblowing cases and fraud reporting to SBP
  • Coordinate investigations with relevant departments
  • Maintain MIS and records of fraud/whistleblowing cases
  • Prepare reports and presentations for committees (WBC, COM, BRCC, etc.)
  • Ensure timely regulatory reporting (monthly/quarterly)

2. Unit Head – SBP Inspection & Issue Management (AVP/VP)

• Reporting to: Wing Head – SBP Inspection & Issue Management Wing
• Education: Minimum Graduation (HEC recognized).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in banking, with 1 year in regulatory compliance, fraud investigation, or reporting.
• Key Skills:
  • Knowledge of banking products/services
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to work in a team and meet strict deadlines
• Responsibilities:
  • Prepare data and agendas for fraud/whistleblowing committees
  • Process investigation reports and ensure compliance with policies
  • Record fraud incidents and submit reports to SBP on time
  • Coordinate with regional offices and subsidiaries for quarterly fraud reporting
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors
