| Purpose | Accreditation of advocates to provide legal representation for indigent persons in family and criminal cases under The Punjab Legal Aid Act, 2018 and Rules, 2025. |
| Eligible Courts | 1. Magisterial Courts 2. Family Courts 3. District & Sessions Courts 4. Special Courts (Anti-Terrorism, Anti-Corruption, Drug, Juvenile, etc.) 5. High Court 6. Federal Shariat Court 7. Supreme Court of Pakistan |
| Eligibility Criteria | – Education: Law degree from a recognized university. – Licensing: Valid license from Punjab/Pakistan Bar Council. – Membership: Registered with a Bar Association under relevant rules. – Experience: – 3 years for Magisterial/Family Courts – 7 years for Sessions/Special Courts – 5 years for High Court/Federal Shariat Court – Supreme Court: Must be an advocate of the Supreme Court. – Gender Quota: Minimum 10% female advocates in each panel (if eligible). |
