Vacancy Announcement: Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC)
The Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC), a state-owned enterprise under the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), is seeking applications for the following positions on an open contract basis.
1. ERP Specialist
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) from an HEC recognized University in Computer Science / Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience: 5-8 years of post-qualification experience in ERP (NetSuite, SAP B1, Microsoft Dynamics). Candidates with finance knowledge and ERP implementation experience will be preferred.
- Age Limit: 35 Years
- Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead end-to-end ERP implementation.
- Gather and analyze business requirements from project sites and Finance stakeholders.
- Oversee system utilization, resolve technical challenges, and manage external consultants.
- Implement testing protocols and ensure post-implementation maintenance.
- Develop training materials, SOPs, and conduct workshops for staff.
- Validate and reconcile financial data on the ERP.
2. IT Administrator / Supervisor – Project Site
- Locations: Khewra (01), Warcha (01), Quetta Office (01).
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) from an HEC recognized University in Computer Science, IT, or BBA (IT).
- Experience: 2-5 years of post-qualification experience in Networking, System Administration, Database Management, and ERP.
- Age Limit: 30 Years
- Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues (hardware, software, network).
- Support the end-to-end ERP implementation process.
- Maintain site infrastructure (LAN/WAN, servers, communication systems).
- Perform routine system maintenance, backups, and antivirus protection.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure compliance with PMDC standards.
