APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT DIRECTORS FOR THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS IN PHA FOUNDATION

Pakistan Housing Authority Foundation (PHAF) is dedicated to providing affordable housing solutions, urban development, and community-focused initiatives to address housing needs across Pakistan, having dynamic visionary leadership to achieve their strategic objectives, ensuring transparency, accountability, and excellence in governance.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Experienced housing consultants/professionals in the field of Housing, Infrastructure Development, Urban Planning, Finance, Law, Architecture, Engineering, Human Resource, Risk Management, Public Administration, or related field with a proven track record of service in reputable private/public sector organizations at a senior level.

• Successful/Reputable Businessmen who set up and run private businesses at a large level in Pakistan, technocrat, or sectoral expert.

• Expertise in public-private policy or V policy.

QUALIFICATION

A bachelor’s degree from a university recognized by HEC in the field of Engineering, Infrastructure Development, Urban Planning, Finance, Law, Architecture, Human Resource, Risk Management, Public Administration, or related fields.

EXPERIENCE

At least 10 years of service/experience in the relevant field of expertise/profession/business in public/private sector organizations.

OTHER CONDITIONS

• The profiles/CVs of the candidates must comply with the relevant provisions of the State-Owned Enterprises Ownership and Management Policy, 2023, and the Public Sector Companies (Corporate Governance) Rules, 2013, Regulations formulated thereunder, and Fit and Proper Criteria as laid down in the said rules thereof.

• The candidates should preferably be 35 years of age or above at the time of appointment.

• Independent Directors must not have any material pecuniary relationship with PHAF or the Government of Pakistan, as defined under Rule 2(1)(b) of the Public Sector Companies (Corporate Governance) Rules, 2013.

• Independent Directors will receive remuneration as per the Public Sector Companies (Corporate Governance) Rules, 2013, and the respective Articles of Association.

• The profiles/credentials of the candidates must not be in conflict of interest with the public sector companies as mentioned above.

• The candidates must bear a good reputation with known integrity.

• Female candidates are encouraged to apply.

• The candidates must be Pakistani Citizens.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

• A cover letter (maximum 500 words) outlining the candidate’s vision for contributing to PHAF.

• Attested copies of educational degrees, professional certifications, and CNIC.

• Two professional references.
