PPRA Independent Procurement Experts Pool – Summary

The Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) in Islamabad is inviting applications from qualified professionals to create a pool of Independent Procurement Experts. These experts will be hired on an assignment basis by various government agencies to ensure procurement processes are fair, transparent, and efficient.

1. Job Purpose

Selected experts will be assigned to different committees within procuring agencies to provide independent review and evaluation, ensuring compliance with procurement rules.

2. Committees for Assignment

Experts may serve on one of the following committees:

• Bid Evaluation Committee
• Grievance Redressal Committee
• Third-Party Validation Committee
• Inspection Committee
• Disposal Committee

3. Eligibility Criteria

• Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 16 years of formal education in one of these fields:
    • Procurement, Supply Chain / Logistics Management
    • Engineering & Technology
    • Business Education
    • Biological & Medical Sciences
    • Agriculture & Veterinary Sciences
    • Physical Sciences
    • Social Sciences – Management Sciences
  • Experience:
    • A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant field.
    • Professional certification or licensing is mandatory where applicable.
  • Preference:
    • Given to candidates with proven experience in procurement, contract management, or supply chain/logistics.

4. Remuneration

• This is an assignment-based contract.
• Payment will be made by the hiring government agency according to PPRA’s prescribed rates.
