The Government of Pakistan has received a loan, Credit No.6243-PK from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of the Punjab Cities Program (PCP), being implemented through the Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC). The program aims to strengthen the performance of participating urban local governments in urban management and service delivery. Under the program, a Head Office and three Regional Offices are established in Gujranwala, Faisalabad, and Khanewal to provide technical support to Municipal Committees.
