Job Summary: Research Specialist at PSPA
The Punjab Social Protection Authority (PSPA) is hiring a Research Specialist (PPS-10) to work on the Punjab Socio-Economic Registry (PSER), a key project for shaping data-driven social protection policies.
- Position Details
- Job Title: Research Specialist
- Grade:PPS-10
- Pay Package: Up to Rs. 700,000 per year
- Maximum Age Limit:50 years
- Appointment Type: Contractual for one year (extendable based on performance)
- Qualifications & Experience
- Education: At least 16 years of education (Master’s degree or equivalent) from an HEC-recognized university in Economics, Sociology, Statistics, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in field sector research, data collection, and data analysis.
- Preferred Experience: Managing large-scale surveys and research projects in socio-economic contexts.
- Key Skills & Competencies
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in statistical software (SPSS, Stata, R, or Python) and data visualization tools.
- Research Methods: Strong command of both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Strategic Alignment: Ability to align research activities with PSER’s strategic goals.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to address challenges in surveys and data analysis.
- Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and innovate in research methodologies.
