Job Summary: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at QESCO

Location: Quetta, Balochistan

1. Key Responsibilities
The CEO will report to the QESCO Board of Directors (BOD) and is responsible for:
- Developing and implementing a strategic plan to achieve the company’s mission.
- Promoting transparency and enhancing company revenue.
- Working closely with the BOD.
2. Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: Must not be more than 62 years old by the application deadline.
- Nationality: Must be a Pakistani national.
- Educational Qualification (Must have one of the following):
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (a Master’s in EE will be given additional weight). OR
- A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Economics, or Finance. OR
- Membership of a recognized Body of Professional Accountants.
- Experience:
- Minimum 20 years of overall professional experience.
- Minimum 2 years of Senior Management experience.
- Experience in the Power Sector is preferred and will be given additional weight.
3. Terms of Employment
- Tenure: A 3-year service contract.
- Salary: A market-based competitive package, based on qualifications and experience.
- Performance Evaluation: Annual performance review by the QESCO Board.
- Continuation: Subject to satisfactory performance; the contract can be terminated due to poor performance.

5. Important Notes
