Job Opportunity: Consultant – Telecom MVNO Feasibility Study
A reputable Islamabad-based telecom entity is seeking a qualified local consultant (individual or firm) to conduct a feasibility study for the strategic development and launch of MVNO services in Pakistan, ensuring compliance with the PTA MVNO Policy Framework (Jan 2026).
Scope of Work
- Securing internal investment and identifying potential Equity Partners.
- Formulating the formal license application for the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).
- Evaluating the viability of a partnership with International MVNO Operators or Enablers (MVNEs).
- Developing a strategic roadmap for commercial negotiations with local Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) like Jazz, Zong, or Ufone.
Eligibility
- Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Telecom/Engineering/Business.
- Experience: 10–12 years’ experience in Pakistan’s telecom sector.
- Skills: Expertise in PTA regulatory processes & wholesale/MNO negotiations.
- Preferred: International MVNO/MVNE exposure.
- Soft Skills: Strong industry network and excellent communication skills.
Other Details
- Duty Station: Islamabad (with travel as required).
- Duration: 2 months, extendable.
