Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: At least a Master’s degree (16 years of education) in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Policy, Sociology, or related fields from an HEC-recognized university. Training in World Bank Environmental and Social Framework (ESF), Occupational Health & Safety, or social safeguards is an advantage.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience in social safeguards, community engagement, grievance redress mechanisms (GRM), labor management, and compliance with World Bank ESF. Experience in infrastructure/construction projects, preferably donor-funded, is required.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Field-level safeguards monitoring and reporting.
- Knowledge of ESMF, ESMPs, C-ESMPs, SEP, LMP, GAP, and SEA/SH Action Plans.
- Community consultations, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong reporting and presentation skills.
- Fluency in English, Sindhi, and Urdu.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Willingness to travel to project districts.
