Job Purpose
To lead the IT division by developing and implementing effective IT strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving the future technology agenda for SLIC, with a high priority on Digital Financial Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the core ERP solution and manage all IT resources.
- Provide transformational leadership for the delivery of IT and Digital
- Develop and implement the overall IT Strategy and foster a culture of innovation.
- Conduct Business Process Re-engineering/Improvement (BPR/BPI)to enhance efficiency.
- Identify competitive technology trends and make strategic recommendations.
- (Preferred) Manage data centers and IT solutions, with project management certifications (PMP/PRINCE2) being an advantage.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Minimum 16 years of education with a degree in BE/BCS/MSc in Computer Science/IT.
- A post-graduate degree(Masters in Information Science or Business) from an HEC/PEC-recognized university is preferred.
Experience:
- 20 years of overall experience in Technology and/or Management.
- 5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., CIO, CTO) involving technology solution design and implementation.
- Preference for candidates with experience in designing and implementing major ERP or Core Insurance systems at an enterprise level.
- Preference for a proven record in technology and change management at a senior level in similarly large organizations.
Age Limit:
- Preferably not more than 55 years, with possible relaxation for suitable candidates.
