Job Summary
Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This is a senior leadership role in a public-sector utility, demanding strategic financial vision and the ability to navigate a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
The CFO will be responsible for the overall financial health and strategy of the company. Key duties include:
- Financial Strategy & Planning: Formulating and executing financial strategies, developing financial plans, and preparing revenue/capital budgets.
- Financial Governance: Ensuring robust financial governance, finalizing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with all statutory, legal, and reporting requirements.
- Treasury & Operations: Overseeing treasury operations, including cash management and investments.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Liaising with external and government auditors and managing Public Accounts Committee matters.
- Risk Management: Providing oversight to the Regulatory Affairs and Risk Management departments to identify and mitigate risks.
Qualifications & Experience
- Professional Qualification: Must be a member of an organized body of professional accountants (e.g., CA, ACCA, CMA).
- Experience: At least 15 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Senior Management Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a senior management position within a reputable multinational or large corporate.
- Preferred Experience: Experience in the Oil & Gas sector or a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) will be a significant advantage.
