LAB MANAGER
Zubaida Medical Centre is seeking an experienced LAB Manager to drive growth and expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the laboratory to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Conduct regular meetings with consultants to support business development and strengthen professional collaboration.
- Supervise laboratory staff and manage the collection, analysis, and interpretation of lab results.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) protocols to maintain high standards.
- Ensure timely calibration of laboratory equipment and maintain comprehensive calibration records.
- Lead and evaluate team performance, ensuring compliance with institutional policies, deadlines, and regulatory standards.
- Actively respond to feedback from management and patients, introducing improvements to optimize lab services.
- Prepare and submit capital expenditure proposals, departmental forecasts, and the annual budget.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in a relevant field
- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role
- 6 years of progressive experience in laboratory operations
